Installation Requirements

screen-scraper has been tested on Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and other platforms that support a Java Runtime Environment of 1.5 or higher. The Windows and Linux screen-scraper installers come with a runtime environment included. Mac OS X should already have the Java Runtime Environment installed (use the Software Update utility if not). For help installing screen-scraper on other platforms (e.g., Solaris, FreeBSD) please contact us.
